Your Chance to Get Involved

October 5, 2017

Our Carlisle Commonwealth community stands out when compared to other communities in Central DeKalb County.  That has not happened by accident.  It has required work done by all of us as residents to keep our properties attractive.  Our property values are directly related to the appearance of our homes.  The better our properties are maintained, the more all of our property values will increase.  What each resident of Carlisle does on their property affects the property values of all of the homes in the community.

CCCA's Architectural Review Committee (ARC) conducts routine reviews of the appearance of properties in our neighborhood and identifies both improvements made and improvements needed in the community.  Specific areas of concerns in Carlisle are as follows:

  • Gutter issues: (Broken gutters with foliage, pine needles, and plant life growing in them)

  • Mail boxes: (old, discolored, leaning or broken)

  • Unused, junk cars

  • Curb appeal: (uncut grass and overgrown shrubbery)

Elimination of these issues will greatly improve the overall appearance of Carlisle.

There are 14 sure-fire ways to help pmaintain or increase our property values.
